Meatballs Using the Solar Flare Parabolic Solar Cooker
This recipe is so deliciously easy! It is a crowd pleaser that will have everyone asking for the recipe. The meatballs are great over rice, in a meatball sandwich or eaten all by themselves!
1 pound ground beef
1 package dry onion soup
1/2 small bottle ketchup
1/2 small jar apple or currant jelly
In a bowl, mix together ground beef and onion soup. Shape into meatballs and place in a cooking vessel. Add ketchup and jelly and cook about 2 hours.Tip: It is recommended to check the cooking vessel about 45 minutes or 1 hour into the cooking process. If there is condensation in the bag check the food. Let cooking vessel rest 2-3 minutes before opening, then open jar and stir contents to check if done. If more time is needed, cook for an additional 10 -20 minutes then check again.
